Description

The Black-headed gull is a medium-sized gull, measuring around 36 to 40 cm in length. It’s head is dark brown in spring and summer, while at other times it is white with a dark smudge behind the eye. In the adult, the plumage is grey above and white below, with black-tipped wings, and a red bill and legs.
