Description

Adult moths are about 8 to 10 mm long and have a wing span of about 18 to 20 mm. When viewed from above with the wings folded over the back, the rear third of the wing appears reddish-brown or bronze coloured while the front two-thirds of the wing is a light silvery grey. The brown-headed larvae are dirty white, sometimes tinged with pink or green
