Description

The adult beetle is a dark mottled brown colour, measuring about 7 mm in length. It is has the typical shape of other anobiid beetles, with its head largely tucked under its thorax. The larvae grow up to 11 mm in length, are white-ish with a yellow head, and adopt a characteristic ‘C’ shape when removed from their tunnels.
