Ornaway^® bird gel

Ornaway® Bird Gel is a novel, highly effective yet discrete bird deterrent for use on buildings and other structures used by pest birds for roosting and nesting – developed by UK scientists and manufactured in Bristol, UK.

Ornaway® acts as a visual deterrent by reflecting light in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum each dish appears as a “white hot” heat source in a bird’s vision. When a roost or nesting area is saturated with dishes, the bird will perceive the area as unsafe and avoid landing.

The low-profile dishes are comprised of a UV stabilised plastic which is suitable to remain in situ for several years, these dishes can be fixed with either appropriate silicone adhesive or magnets depending on substrate. Once applied, the gel has no strong odour, providing an inconspicuous solution for locations such as windowsills in office or apartment blocks.

GUANAWAY^® Disinfectant Concentrate

Guanaway Disinfectant Concentrate is a highly effective quaternary ammonium disinfectant, intended to aid in the removal and sanitisation of bird guano, nesting materials and debris as part of an integrated pest management strategy.

Guanaway is supplied as a concentrate, to be diluted and applied by way of a hand-held pressurised sprayer. The alkaline formulation cuts through greasy deposits and neutralises acidic compounds found in roost and nesting sites while also controlling a wide range of pathogens associated with birds such as C. psittaci (cause of Ornithosis) in addition to Salmonella, Listeria, Campylobacter, viruses and fungi.

Guanaway is also ideal for controlling dust and other airborne particles which may be created in the process of removing bird nests and debris, reducing the risk of contamination.
